- The fellowship was founded in 1925. At
first, members met in a room at The Cottage Farm. As numbers
increased, larger premises were needed and a former 'Carpenter's
Shop', which was opposite the Post Office, was used.
- The gift of a plot of land enabled the
present building to be erected and the first meeting was
held on 29th June 1927.
- The Church has an evangelical, non-conformist
tradition which it still holds to. The need to support missionary
work, at home and abroad, has always been a high priority
and the present membership continues this work.
- Meetings are held every Sunday, both in
the morning and evening; these are conducted by visiting
speakers from a variety of churches.
- A very warm welcome is extended to anyone
who wishes to worship with us.
- The Church is licensed for the solemnising
of Weddings and enquiries on this or other matters can be
made to the Assistant Church Secretary:
Mr David Clarke: Tel: 01934 833528
