Making
those faded memories .....
....
as fresh as a daisy
So
now you don't have to remember your grandma
as just a misty grey image - that old
photo can be restored to look as good
as the day it was first taken ...
How Imagine
IT Works
We
take your original photo, in colour or
black and white, and scan it, creating a computer
picture which can be stored and altered as needed.
We can then make changes to the
brightness and contrast, remove marks and creases
and restore torn edges. Your photo can be made to
look as good as on the day it was first taken. Imagine
IT can get rid of unwanted background objects or
even people from a photo. It is also possible to
combine two or more images if you want to create
a single picture of people who happen to be in different
photos or to create a montage which is an ideal
gift for a special birthday or anniversary. From
old photos, the prints can be sepia tinted in order
to avoid them looking too modern.
The finished output is on photographic
weight paper. Your pictures are produced as photo
quality computer prints up to A3. A digital negative
can be manufactured which can be used to reproduce
the picture in a conventional photographic way -
from 3½" x 2½" up to 20" x 30".
Work is charged according to the time spent
- obviously, the more crucial the area of damage
(such as on facial features), the more time will
be needed.
To make life simpler, two basic
services have been introduced which cover the majority
of work. These are the Standard and Premier Services.
Restoration beyond this amount of damage or the
merging of two or more photographs comes within
the Expert Service. Please see the price list for
details of services available.
If you cant decide which
service is most suitable, please contact us and
ask for a quotation - we're always ready to help.

By
the act of placing an order the customer expresses
his right to reproduce the image supplied under
copyright law. The customer is absolutely liable
for any resulting violation of copyright action
taken by any third party.
Imagine IT will not intentionally copy or reproduce any photograph
or other image which is protected by copyright.
Copyright law can be roughly summarised as follows:
Usually,
whoever takes the photograph owns the copyright.
As long as this was not a professional photographer,
there are rarely any problems with permission.
If
the photograph is the work of a professional photographer
or photographic studio, you can contact them and
ask for written permission to copy/alter it. This
written permission should be sent with the photograph.
If
you cannot contact, or do not know, the studio
or professional, the general rule is that copyright
lasts for the lifetime of the photographer plus
75 years.
